Book Crossing Strategy

To communicate the launch of the new independent publishing house Florilegio Imprinting, OOCL (creative agency based in Rome) set up a guerrilla marketing campaign focused on a Book Crossing action.
An actor was sent in 19 media agencies to deliver the message of the campaign: “My ideas are naked, my talent protected”.
The city of Milan was invaded with books (a bookcrossing strategy), and now everyone knows about Florilegio Imprinting.

That’s pretty brilliant. As a marketing director myself I find extreme ad ideas like this really interesting.

That’s funny and a little sad. In Los Angeles (that’s where I live) there is more and more “sandwich” people with ads on their backs. Just like in 30′s.

Hi alexei, i took part in this advertising action and i tell you…it wasn’t sad…imagine: the delivery man went to 19 press agencies…he was introduced this way: at the receptions another person (me) ask for the director “there’s a gift for the director..but i have to give him personally”, so the director arrive…me:”there’s a gift for you, wait a moment, i’m going to take it outside”. And then SURPRISE. A strange man wearing that way…with a message and a real gift.
Could you imagine the faces of journalists?
Really there’s nothing sAD, just ADs.
thank u for your comment!
